The 2020 Ford Expedition is built with pride. This full-size SUV has all the makings of a great vehicle. The all-new Expedition is loaded with technology, power, and style for miles. Here’s a look at the different trim levels to help you decide which trim is right for you.
XLT
The base model XLT comes standard with Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine with direct injection, and twin air-to-air inter-cooled turbo chargers. When paired with Ford’s 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission this powerful engine delivers 400 horsepower, and 480 lb-ft of torque.
The XLT also features Power Fold, and Power Recline 60/40 third-row seats. With the push of a button you can reconfigure the space, store seats, or just relax.
It comes standard with a Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking system, as well as, a Reverse Sensing system. These use advanced radar and camera technology to monitor, alert, and even assist in braking to avoid or mitigate potential accidents.
Limited
The Limited’s powertrain is the same as the XLT’s. The outside may look the same, but it features a hands-free power rear liftgate, and power-deployable side running boards.
Inside, the Limited is loaded with luxury appointments like a leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel, power-adjustable brake and accelerator pedals, and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system.
It adds Ford’s BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) to its driver assist features. Ford’s Sync 3 technology is standard, allowing you to link your smart devices. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability allow you to send and receive calls, texts, access music, and get navigation, all by voice command.
King Ranch
The King Ranch trim adds a level of luxurious refinement. It’s distinctive Mesa/Ebony Del Rio leather interior includes 10-way power-adjustable Captain’s chairs that are heated and ventilated for maximum comfort.
Second row seating also has heated seats with arm rests, and power folding, tip and slide capability.
It rides on 22-inch, six-spoke, machine-face aluminum with dark tarnish pockets wheels with the King Ranch center cap logo. You can see all around the King Ranch with its 360-degree camera.
Platinum
The Platinum is also loaded with luxury features, including Multi-Contour Seats with Active Motion. These front seats are leather-trimmed, heated, and ventilated for comfort, but also include the Active Motion technology. They massage as you ride, helping reduce fatigue on those long drives.
The Platinum also features Ford Co-Pilot 360, a full suite of driver assist features designed to keep you safer on the roads. Pre-Collision Assist with Emergency Braking, BLIS with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping System, and a Rear View Camera all work together to monitor the road around you for potential hazards.
Go Max
When size matters, go Max. Every Expedition trim can come in a Max configuration. This configuration adds an additional foot in overall length. The Max option adds an additional 16.9 cubic-feet of cargo space to the 20.9 cu-ft of space behind the third row. When all seats are stored the cargo space can fit up to 121.5 cu-ft of storage.
There are a lot of features to like on the Expedition. Come test drive one today and see which ones you love best.
