Engine problems are more likely if a car has missed its regular services. Servicing is very important as components slowly wear out or get damaged and need replacement. If you have a problem with your engine, your Ford dealer can fix it for you. These are some signs that you may need to visit us for a repair.
Low Compression
Pressure is an important factor in many engine processes. Compression refers to the pressure exerted on the fuel-air mixture in the cylinders. Fuel and air mix in the intake manifold. Sensors monitor the quantities of air and fuel, and once the two have mixed, they’re drawn into the engine cylinders. The cylinder closes and seals airtight. The piston inside the cylinder rises and compresses the mixture, which is then ignited by the spark plug.
Compression makes the mixture more powerful when it’s ignited to produce the combustion that powers your car’s movement. If a cylinder isn’t airtight, air will reduce the piston’s ability to compress the mixture. Without effective compression, you’ll experience reduced engine power. We’ll examine the cylinders to identify the cause of the problem, and then we’ll repair it.

Your radiator’s job is to dissipate engine heat. Heat is carried to the radiator inside the coolant, which enters rows of thin aluminum tubes. Air flows through the radiator grille and across the tubes to remove the heat. If your radiator is damaged, the cooling process becomes less efficient. At your Ford dealership, we can fix any of these problems for you. These are some signs that you’ll need a radiator repair.
Broken Water Pump
Your engine works most efficiently between 185 F and 220 F, but higher sustained temperatures can cause damage to vital engine components like seals or gaskets. Coolant slows down or speeds up in response to increases or decreases in engine temperature.
