Hazelwood Food and Drink
Located just across the street from the Mall of America, Hazelwood Food and Drink is an 8,800-square-foot restaurant that specializes in modern comfort food. It’s especially crowded on weekends when it serves its highly sought-after brunch dishes. Its extensive brunch menu includes appetizers, salads, pancakes, toast, omelettes, sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas. It’s recommended that you try the restaurant’s specialty dishes, such as the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Wood-Fired Rotisserie Chicken, Chicken Pot Pie, and Fish and Chips.
Hazelwood Food and Drink is situated at the corner of Lindau Lane and 24th Avenue, just across the street from the Sears store at the Mall of America. Brunch is served between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It’s a good idea to call the restaurant to check availability before your visit.
George and the Dragon
Established in 2012, George and the Dragon is the place where locals go when they crave a home-style meal. Modeled after an English pub, it provides a great casual dining experience with its neighborly atmosphere and friendly staff. The restaurant uses only natural and organic ingredients sourced from local farmers and family-owned businesses to ensure that its customers will get the freshest and healthiest food possible. On its brunch menu, you’ll find traditional breakfast items, such as toast, pancakes, biscuits, and eggs Benedict, as well as more substantial dishes such as steak and eggs, burgers, and the classic Sunday Roast.
George and the Dragon is located about six miles north of downtown Bloomington on West 50th Street in south Minneapolis. It serves brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Firelake Grill House and Cocktail Bar
For a more upscale brunch experience, head down to the Firelake Grill House and Cocktail Bar at the Mall of America. This restaurant features a modern yet cozy decor and creative farm-to-table dishes prepared with fresh local produce. Its brunch menu consists of hash, eggs Benedict, flatbreads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and pastries. Some of the items you should try include the Smoked Trout Benedict, Minnesota Walleye Hash, Breakfast Sandwich, Backyard Cheeseburger, Firelake Rope Sausage Flatbread, and Firelake Rotisserie Chicken. Firelake Grill House and Cocktail Bar is located in Radisson Blu Mall of America, which is directly connected to the Mall of America. It offers brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
