2025 Ford Super Duty

The 2025 Ford Super Duty has six trims: the XL, XLT, LARIAT, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. The base XL presents a strong foundation with 18-inch cast aluminum wheels, a bright chrome grille, and chrome front and rear step bumpers. The available STX Appearance Package brings unique styling elements, including an STX fender vent badge. The XLT upgrades to a chrome bar-style grille with a chrome surround and 18-inch aluminum wheels. LARIAT models showcase a chrome mesh grille with chrome surround and nostrils, maintaining the 18-inch aluminum wheels.

The King Ranch stands out with its western-inspired design cues and available Pro Trailer Hitch Assist technology. The Platinum trim makes a statement with its Black Onyx cabin treatment and distinctive Platinum Blue accents complemented by black exterior trim. A power tailgate with a retractable tailgate step comes standard across all models.

The XL trim comes equipped with a standard 6.8-liter V-8 gas engine, generating 405 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 445 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. The XLT and higher trims feature a more potent 7.3-liter V-8 gas engine producing 430 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 485 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. Two diesel options are also available across all trims. The 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 Turbo Diesel delivers 475 horsepower at 2,600 rpm and 1,050 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 rpm. The high-output version of this engine pushes output to 500 horsepower at 2,600 rpm with an impressive 1,200 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 rpm.

When properly equipped, the Super Duty achieves a maximum conventional towing capacity of 30,000 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 8,000 pounds. The gooseneck towing capacity reaches up to 40,000 pounds for more demanding tasks. A 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission comes standard across all models, delivering smooth power delivery and optimal gear selection. Testing has shown that an F-250 SuperCrew four-wheel drive with a diesel engine can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds. The 8-foot cargo box provides 78.5 cubic feet of volume, measuring 98.1 inches long, 66.9 inches wide, and 21.1 inches tall.

A fold-out interior work surface provides convenience during stops, while the SYNC 4 system delivers essential connectivity. The XL trim includes an 8-inch LCD touchscreen, while XLT and higher trims upgrade to a 12-inch display. Max Recline seats offer comfort during breaks. Natural voice control enables hands-free operation of various functions, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity keeps drivers connected. The cloud-connected navigation system provides real-time updates on weather, traffic, construction zones, and parking availability.

A 360-degree camera system provides comprehensive visibility around the vehicle, while an individual tire pressure monitoring system extends to trailer tires for added peace of mind. The King Ranch trim offers an onboard scale system to prevent overloading. A trailer brake controller, available on the XL trim, helps maintain stability when towing. The auxiliary camera system enables enhanced trailer views, while Pro Trailer Hitch Assist automates the hitching process by controlling steering, acceleration, and braking during trailer connection.
