2025 Ford Ranger

The 2025 Ranger has four trims: the XL, XLT, LARIAT, and Raptor. A redesigned front fascia gives each model a bold presence on the road, with LED reflector headlamps standard across all trims. The base XL features 17-inch wheels, while the XLT upgrades to available 18-inch wheels and adds power-folding mirrors for convenience. The LARIAT brings premium exterior elements, including LED signature lighting and body-color mirrors. The range-topping Raptor stands out with its distinctive grille design and wider stance.

Multiple color options include Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Marsh Gray, Oxford White, Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Shadow Black, Desert Sand, Velocity Blue Metallic, and the Raptor-exclusive Shelter Green Metallic.

The standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine produces 270 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 310 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm, offering a solid foundation of power for everyday tasks. Available on the XLT and LARIAT trims, the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 increases output to 315 horsepower at 5,750 rpm and 400 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm, providing enhanced capability for more demanding situations. The performance-focused Raptor features an exclusive 3.0-liter EcoBoost V-6 generating 405 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. All engines pair with a refined 10-speed automatic transmission, optimizing performance and efficiency.

Different configurations allow for impressive acceleration across the lineup. The 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine achieves 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds, while the more powerful 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 reduces this to 5.6 seconds. Four-wheel drive is available on XL, XLT, and LARIAT trims, becoming standard equipment on the Raptor. The FX4 Off-Road Package, available for XL, XLT, and LARIAT models, adds specialized equipment for off-road capability.

The Raptor includes Fox suspension components, front and rear locking differentials, and specialized drive modes for various terrain types to improve off-road performance. Its 33-inch BFGoodrich tires provide superior traction in challenging conditions, while modified steering and suspension tuning deliver precise control on and off the pavement.

The latest SYNC 4A system, featuring a 12-inch center stack touchscreen, comes standard on the LARIAT and is available on XLT models. A 12-inch digital instrument cluster provides customizable information displays, while base XL and XLT trims have a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen. The XLT and LARIAT trims add luxury touches with power-adjustable heated leather seats and wireless charging capability.

Practical features include 120-volts/400-watt power outlets in the cabin and cargo bed, supporting various power needs. The five-passenger seating configuration provides comfort for all occupants, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility ensures seamless smartphone integration across all trim levels.

The Ford Co-Pilot360 system, standard on XLT and LARIAT trims, includes pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and a lane-keeping system.
