2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E
Ford's boundary-pushing Mustang Mach-E combines electric power with the spirit of America's favorite muscle car. This battery-powered SUV, which earned Car and Driver's first "EV of the Year" award, provides raw power, advanced technology, and daily practicality.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Ford offers the 2025 Mustang Mach-E in four trim levels: Select, Premium, GT, and GT Rally. The Select comes with 18-inch aluminum wheels, while the Premium gets upgraded 19-inch wheels plus an optional Sport Appearance Package with red Brembo front brake calipers. The Premium's Sport Package adds black door cladding and wheel lips that highlight the SUV's athletic shape. Extra design elements and 20-inch wheels are included with the GT models, hinting at their extra power. For off-road adventures, the GT Rally sits higher with a tuned suspension.
Engine (Power)
The Mach-E Select comes with a 266-horsepower motor and a 75.7-kilowatt-hour battery. A larger 98.8-kilowatt-hour battery is offered in the Premium models, delivering 290 horsepower with rear-wheel drive. Add a second motor for all-wheel drive and it will generate 346 horsepower. The GT produces 480 horsepower and 634 pound-feet of torque, while the GT Performance delivers 700 pound-feet of torque. These electric motors deliver maximum torque instantly, providing immediate thrust at any speed.
Performance
The Select trim achieves 60 mph in 6.1 seconds, and the GT Performance drops that time to 3.7 seconds. For even quicker acceleration, the Rally has a 0-to-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 128 mph. All-wheel-drive versions grip the road confidently in any weather, while the Rally model handles rough terrain with ease. Low-mounted batteries create a lower center of gravity, improving handling. Ford has created an SUV that can tackle terrain no traditional Mustang could while keeping the brand's sporty DNA intact.
Interior
The Mach-E's interior features a 15.5-inch touchscreen with Ford's SYNC 4A system that learns the driver's habits. Behind the wheel is a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster showing speed, range, and navigation. All models include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are 29 cubic feet behind the rear seats for storage, expanding to 60 cubic feet with the seats folded. The 4.8-cubic-foot truck in the front includes waterproofing and a drain plug. Quality materials and smart design touches make this SUV feel luxurious throughout.
Safety Features
Ford's BlueCruise technology enables genuine hands-free driving on over 130,000 miles of mapped highways across North America. This innovative technology works seamlessly alongside standard safety features, such as automatic emergency braking that can detect both vehicles and pedestrians, adaptive cruise control that keeps a safe following distance, and a 360-degree camera system that eases the stress of parking. Those features combined with the vehicle's robust crash protection structure and comprehensive airbag system earned the Mach-E the coveted "Top Safety Pick" designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Beyond just checking regulatory boxes, it's clear that Ford built this electric SUV with passenger protection as a fundamental priority from the ground up, giving drivers genuine peace of mind.
