The 2023 Mustang is available in nine trims, including the EcoBoost Fastback, which has LED headlights, LED sequential taillights, and a dual exhaust featuring a bright finish and rolled tips. The EcoBoost Fastback Premium adds a blade decklid spoiler and Pony puddle lamps, while the EcoBoost Convertible and EcoBoost Premium Convertible offer an open-air driving experience.

On the GT Fastback, you'll find LED fog lights, a raised spoiler, and a 3.5-inch exhaust with quad tips. The GT is also available as a Premium model and a Convertible model. The Mach 1 and Mach 1 Premium command attention with performance rear spoilers, unique lower and outboard grilles, and distinctive Pony badging.

Mustang EcoBoost models feature a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine with an output of 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Add the 2.3L High Performance Package, and you'll enjoy 330 horsepower. With a Mustang GT trim, you get a 5.0-liter V-8 engine capable of producing 450 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. In the Mach 1 models, this engine can generate 470 horsepower thanks to trim-exclusive tuning. This robust engine is also efficient with features like sequential multi-port electronic fuel injection.

The 2023 Mustang comes with a six-speed manual transmission that delivers a thrilling hands-on driving experience. Ford also offers a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission for drivers who prefer a more laid-back ride. Every Mustang features an independent rear suspension that allows enhanced handling, even when driving conditions are less than ideal. An agile rear-wheel-drive system makes it easy to maneuver through traffic and perform cornering maneuvers.

The 2023 Mustang seats four and comes with cloth seating surfaces. Premium models are available with luxurious leather upholstery, which is standard in the Mach 1 Premium. This top trim also features a six-way power driver's seat with lumbar support, a four-way power passenger seat, and heating and cooling for both front seats. You'll also find a nine-speaker sound system, a SYNC 3 infotainment system, and voice-activated navigation, all optional in lower trim levels.
