2025 Ford Maverick

Ford offers five trims to cater to different needs. All models feature a refreshed front grille and updated lighting elements that enhance the Maverick's modern appearance. The XL comes with 17-inch steel wheels with Sparkle Silver-painted covers, which the XLT swaps out for 17-inch Carbonized Gray-painted alloys. Reflecting its street-performance focus, the Lobo has 19-inch black rally-inspired wheels and a lowered ride height. The sophisticated Lariat sports 19-inch Bright Aluminum-painted wheels, while the rugged Tremor model introduces 17-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires and a unique grille with orange accents.

All trims offer the innovative FLEXBED storage system, which includes six bed tie-downs for securing cargo. The multiposition tailgate adds versatility for various hauling needs. LED headlights come standard across the lineup, providing excellent visibility in diverse conditions.

Multiple engine options cater to different driving preferences and needs. The 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain, standard on XL, XLT, and Lariat trims, generates 191 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 155 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. It pairs with a smooth-shifting, continuously variable transmission. The optional 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, standard on the Lobo and Tremor, delivers 238 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 275 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm and works with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

When properly equipped with the available 4K Tow Package, the XL, XLT, and Lariat can pull up to 4,000 pounds with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, while the base towing capacity across all configurations is 2,000 pounds. The Lobo brings street-performance credibility with its performance-tuned suspension and modified steering.

The Tremor focuses on off-road prowess with its specially tuned suspension, electronic locking rear differential, and advanced four-wheel-drive system. Multiple drive modes allow drivers to optimize performance for different terrain conditions.

The new SYNC 4 system with a 13.2-inch touchscreen is the command center, offering standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Standard safety technologies on all 2025 Maverick models include pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. The Lariat and Tremor add adaptive cruise control with lane centering for more relaxed highway driving.
